Our Impact
Huntington Pride has launched several events and programs to further our mission. These include social events like various drag events, book signings, and comedy shows; educational events such as, National Coming Out Day, and Transgender Day of Visibility; and fundraising events to raise money for local non-profits.
Our biggest impact to date comes from our annual Pride in the Park event each June and our annual Huntington Pride Festival, which draws thousands of people to Downtown Huntington each October in an amazing display of love and community.
In 2025 we launched an LGBTQ+ Resource Guide, The Rainbow Book. This guide is personally vetted safe spaces for essential services that was built with the help of community volunteers. We strive to create events and programs that reach our entire community and our allies and will continue to grow and expand to meet those needs. We thank our community for embracing the mission of Huntington Pride. Together we will make a lasting impact for current and future LGBTQ+ residents.
