Our Impact

The first annual Huntington Pride Festival in 2019 had over 5000 attendees. Since then our festival has been going strong as a day of visibility and love for our queer community.

Our festival has had the honor to host headliners like Nina West as well as provide an outlet for our local and regional performers to get well deserved exposure on a festival stage scale.

Our events surrounding our festival like our pageant, prom, and collaborative take overs with local businesses continue to foster the flame of the Jewel City spirit!

In 2021, we launched our our first LGBTQ+ resource guide for Cabell County in partnership with Branches Domestic Violence Shelter and the Cabell County Stop Team. We created this guide to better serve our local community.

In 2025 we launched an updated Resource Guide, The Rainbow Book, with the same goal: Connecting our community to safe and inclusive essential services. This guide was personally vetted by our volunteer community members and board. You can find the full guide here on our site under the Resources tab.

We have multiple, regular occurring drag events, such as Drag Me to Brunch and Drag Me to Bingo. Not only do these events provide visibility and a great opportunity for fun in the community, but they also give local performers the opportunity to express themselves in their own unique ways.
